The selection of new, active members shall be held once a year, during the second semester of the school year. New members will be inducted into the chapter during a special ceremony.
An active member of the National Honor Society who transfers from this school will be given a letter indicating the status of their membership and signed by the chapter adviser or principal
An active member of the National Honor Society who transfers to this school will be automatically accepted for membership in this chapter. The transferring member will have one semester to attain the membership requirements and, thereafter, this member must maintain those requirements for this chapter in order to retain their membership.
Applying to NHS
All students who are interested in applying to be a member of the National Honors Society should complete and submit an application to Mr. Clifton. All applications will be presented before the Faculty Committee for consideration. Applications must be submitted within one week of your notice of eligibility. Any questions about the application or process can be directed to the NHS Adviser.
